Nothing Beats A Day Spent With Family

My sister Raine and I have been looking for a Starbucks branch with available GCs for ages. It was the best gift that we thought of giving our parents for Christmas since they love having coffee dates whenever. The problem though was finding a branch that has available GCs. We already went to 4 branches but to no avail it's always out of stock. Thank God it was available in SB Gateway branch. At least we were able to give our gift before 2011 starts :)

After strolling and scouring over the 3 malls of Araneta (SM, AliMall, Gateway) we finally decided to have lunch when papa arrived to join us from work. He told us that he wants to eat at Super Bowl (in Gateway). We already ate there a couple of times and I like their food (and I am extremely hungry) so I was contented with the choice. And being the foodie that I am, I took pictures of the food.

Oops. I forgot to take a picture before we devoured it.

After eating lunch and walking around the mall, my parents decided to use the GCs we gave them so we headed to Starbucks to kill time.

And since tomorrow were leaving early to go to the province, I shall rest now. Good night! :)

We Will Miss You Dinna!

I got to see my college friends yesterday, December 27 at Dinna's place. It was a despedida (goodbye) party for our friend because she's leaving for Australia soon. And at the same time it was kind of a post Christmas get together for us too since some of us haven't seen each other for quite some time now. It was a blast! All we did was talk, laugh our hearts off, take pictures and EAT. We were stuffed because there was a lot of food. As I always say, time spent with friends is always the best thing eveeeer!

Yummy food!
I'll miss you Dinna! :(
Credits to Chicka for the pictures. Thank you love!

The Venice Piazza

Last December 26 after attending the Sunday Mass, my family decided to go somewhere we have never been before. My mom and I have heard about Venice Piazza at McKinley Hill so we decided to go there. The place pretty much looks like Eastwood but smaller. There are lots of restaurants to choose from and there was even a bazaar the time we went there. It was a great place to go eat and take pictures because of the Venice like ambiance of the place.

We ate at My Thai and I must say, the food was great! I was stuffed! Definitely the restaurant is a must try.

I had a blast with my family! And we had fun taking lots of pictures :)

Haha-Holiday!

My family have a holiday tradition of spending Christmas Eve with my father side and Christmas Day with my Mom's side of the family. This year, we did just that.

After hearing mass on the 24th, we went to Mother Dear's (my Dad's Mom) place to have Noche Buena. In the middle of eating I suddenly remembered that we forgot to take pictures. Probably because we were too hungry to even remember. Crap. Haha! The food was delish! And the time spent with family is always the best thing ever.

I decided to wear something casual and rated PG since we went to mass that day. Too bad I didn't get the chance to take a picture of myself.

On the 25th however there were lot's of pictures taken but being the food lover that I am, I was too caught up taking pictures of the food. My Tita (Aunt) was the one who took pictures of everyone else. We did a lot of eating of course. And singing as well (thanks to the karaoke). We also had a lot of time to catch up with each others lives. I truly looove the holidays!

I wore a white tee from Forever 21, jumper mini skirt from SM, gray cardigan, red wedge from Parisian and accesories to match :)

Christmas Party with Kada Ganda

Last December 18, my High School friends and I had our annual Christmas party at Yroe's place. It was really fun! I must say, the videoke made it much more special because we got to sing and made complete fools of ourselves and laugh our butts off. And yea, Yroe's place was amazing as ever, the food was great, and the company was even better. I really do enjoy myself whenever I'm with them. I love them dearly! Our other friends weren't able to come though so that was a bummer. Plus, I had to go home really early because I need to do a lot of things for my cupcake business. Nonetheless, I had the time of my life.

My beautiful friends Jia, Yroe, Kim, and Cilla.
 I love you kada! <3

Credits to Jia for the pictures. Thanks dear!

I've been baking like crazy these past few days. And it's hella fun! Yes, it's really tiring but the joy and fulfillment that I feel after baking is beyond words. It's a plus that I earn money along the way, doing what I am passionate about. I wish one day I could have my own bakeshop to manage and my own baking company at that. Wishy wish :)

Lemon Cupcake with Buttercream Frosting for all the lemon fanatics out there.

Banana Walnut Cupcake for those who loves bananas and walnuts. Really yummy!

Chocolate Cupcake with Chocolate Fudge Frosting for all the chocoholics. Chocolate heaven indeed!

And the super nice packaging. Only for Php 180 per box. Yummy to the tummy, pleasing to the eyes, and easy on the pocket at that! :)

Hello Chinatown!

Later in the afternoon that Sunday I got to spend the day with my friends. I traded my heels for the sneakers because I was expecting a lot of walking. And I removed my vest since it was like a hundred degrees outside. Anyhow, It was my first time to go to Chinatown. Thanks to my good friend Kwani. We did a lot of eating and walking. We also took lots of pictures. We were tourists, pretty much. We sampled on a lot of Chinese dishes. The fried Siopao was delish! Beef Maki was great. The dumplings were superb. And the Wanton Noodles and Stir Fried Noodles was yummy. I would recommend going to Chinatown if you're such a foodie like me. :)

Here are my friends and I. Cilla, Kwani (our tour guide), me, and Yroe. Had the time of my life with you guys!

The yummy Beef Maki. The beef was tasty and the thick soup takes the dish to another dimension. Yum!

Steamed Dumplings with chives and pork.

Fried Dumplings with chives and pork.

Wanton Noodles soup was hot and delish.

Mr. Ube's Special Stir Fried Noodles was yummy!

My friends and I also went to the Buddhist Temple. It was really nice to see and experience the Chinese culture first hand. I appreciate it even more. Chinatown tour is a must!
